About Anthony Brown

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College for Creative Studies, Anthony began his career as a freelance designer, quickly building a portfolio that included clients such as Cartoon Network, TNT, RPMC Event Management, Teacher’s Discovery, O’Neil & McClure Advertising, and The Detroit Metro Times.

In 2002, he joined Stahls’ as a Graphic Artist, Designer, and Illustrator, creating licensed creative materials for major professional sports organizations including the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL.

Anthony later expanded into Technical Illustration at Riegner & Associates, producing detailed visual work for Fortune 500 clients such as Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, General Motors, Detroit Diesel, and the U.S. Armed Forces. As the industry began to shift and the need for Technical Illustration declined, Anthony returned to digital design, stepping into the role of Head Website Designer at Lakeshore Development Group, where he led website and front-end email design initiatives.

Anthony would depart from Lakeshore Development Group in 2012 and join General Motors as a Lead UI/UX/Product Designer & Art Director. Over an 11-year tenure, he played a key role in advancing enterprise user experience strategy, leading design initiatives, mentoring talent, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration at scale.

Today, Anthony serves as Manager, UI/UX & Product Design at KinderCare, where he leads and develops high-performing design teams responsible for enterprise-level applications and digital experiences. Anthony remains passionate about building thoughtful, user-centered solutions while fostering a culture of design excellence, ownership, and growth.
